The Light Factory-Contemporary Museum of Photography & Film

What is The Light Factory?

The Light Factory Contemporary Museum of Photography and Film is one of only four museums for photography and film in the United States.  It has served as a haven for artists to express new ideas through photography and filmmaking, and to support cutting edge art since 1972.

If you have the opportunity, visit this museum and enjoy the many expressions of photgraphers and filmmakers alike. Please keep in mind they will be closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Out in the Streets: Democratic National Convention, Chicago, 1968. The whole world was watching! Over 50 photographs and protest music spanning the 1960s to now! The show closes this Sunday, January 20th.
