Christopher Scott “Chris” Kyle: US Navy Seal’s Tragedy

While most of my blog entries are oftentimes light, I can’t help but pay homage to two men, who while helping another, lost their lives.

Christopher Scott “Chris” Kyle was a United States Navy SEAL and the most lethal sniper in American military history.

Kyle, 38, established a nonprofit, which provided in-home fitness equipment to physically and emotionally wounded veterans. He established the nonprofit after leaving the Navy in 2009 following four tours of duty in Iraq, where he earned a reputation as one of the military’s most lethal snipers. His wartime account, “American Sniper,” was a best-seller.

Sadly, his life and that of his friend, Chad Littlefield, ended tragically when a troubled war veteran they were reaching out to, shot them both.
